Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in High Point with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in North Carolina may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

This store is a hit or miss. The kids who work there are oblivious to say the least. I asked on a kid for some help and he straight up told me he couldn't help me with a price. Lol. I will say my cashier Ariannya was great! She was super friendly. She had excellent customer service and I really appreciate that coming from this generation. Hopefully she finds a better place to work

We don't shop here often because the prices are on the high side. We've always loved their meat though. Yesterday we went to this location to treat ourselves to some good meat. Imagine our surprise when we saw that meat. The meat counter itself was appalling. Packages were leaking, the visual quality was obviously down, ground meat that said chuck had such a high fat content that it was literally pink, and the whole area smelled like rotting meat. In spite of the condition of the store and the meat counter, prices have continued to go up. This is appalling.

I’ve been shopping at this Harris Teeter almost every day for nearly two years, and I never expected to leave feeling the way I did after this visit. While I was in the frozen fruit aisle, an employee approached me and asked if I needed help. I politely said “no, thank you.” Instead of respecting that, they asked me again—this time in a much more stern and pressing tone. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that no one else in the aisle was approached or questioned in the same way. As an African American customer, this interaction did not feel random—it felt targeted. I have never been accused of stealing from this store yet in that moment I felt like I was being treated with suspicion for simply existing in the store. It left me feeling uneasy, uncomfortable, and honestly unsafe in a place where I’ve been a consistent, loyal customer for years. No one should have to feel that way while doing something as routine as grocery shopping. I’m deeply disappointed by this experience and hope management takes it seriously. Customers deserve to be treated with dignity and fairness, regardless of who they are.

I hope this gets back to the employee, Hunter. Thank you so much for seeing me come out of Petsmart with three dogs food bags larger than me and offering to help put them in my car on your break. You asked politely and safely and I can’t tell you how much in this world that means to a petite woman. Harris Teeter, you not only have a good employee working for you, but a good person!

I stopped in here after shopping at another store in the same plaza. This Harris Teeters is way bigger than one I go to in Winston-Salem. I couldn't find the shopping carts at first because I walked into the door that didn't have them. I had to go to out the other door to get a cart. When you walk in the store, they have hand Starbucks right there. I did have to do a few laps around the store to find some items that I needed. The store is very clean! The staff is very friendly! They have merchandise that my store doesn't have! I did self checkout and the staff that was working in the area was very friendly and welcoming!
